Her photography via my edit:

Editing went like this,all in CS4.

Tonal contrast adjustment.
Sky darkened and landscape lightened.
Warming filter on Landscape at 10%.
Skyline Denoised.
Reds in Barn selectively increased by 15%.
Greens in tree line selectively increased by 10%.
Dodging to white stone wall and bucket.
Shadows darkened slightly.
Cropped.
Sharpened and resized to 1280 pixels.

I don`t know what the surrounding area is like as this was taken in Canada but it certainly looks quiet and peaceful,I think I`d love it there too
