Maybe with an angle from the other side so the housing doesn't show, but then i don't know what's behind you, do I?
I don't know if the 40D has this feature (I'm thinking it does) bit you might find the saturation adjustment and set it up just one notch or do what you are doing and take several test shots while adjusting the saturation to find what looks right to you. I'm not saying the color is off though. I think it is pretty good as is, but could be a bit better. It's up to you though
Shooting L-R is gonna yield the best shot of this Bridge (took about a dozen btw and may have better ones in the bank for later
I will go back and try it that way again though with this new cam and wait perhaps when the summers blooms are a bit more in evidence
The 40 may have a feature like that bud,not sure,we`re still on 1st base with each other
