Took one of my fav lil drives last week through the easygoing Vale of Ewyas,up onto Gospel Pass (it acquired the name when Geraldus Cambriensis (‘Gerald of Wales’ ) preached the 3rd Crusade here in medieval times) and then floating atop of Hay Bluff enjoying the glorious views you can see right here :sheepish:

Then a quick descent into the famous Town of Books,Hay-on-Wye for an Orange & Walnut Ice-Cream :lick:

Loooooooooooovly day, thank you all for looking, take care :thanks:

A good photograph is one that communicates a fact, touches the heart, leaves the viewer a changed person for having seen it ... it is in one word: "effective" (IRVING PENN) My page: [link]

Breath taking as always. Been to Hay on Wye a couple of time. Once just to browse thought all them book shops and ones close by to Gigrin Farm to see the Kites being fed. What a sight. Shame that on neither occasion I had time to explore the surrounding countryside. xx
